Your doctor may ask multiple questions and also take photos of your tongue for analysis.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Wear loose-fitting clothing or bring shorts and a loose-fitting shirt to change into. Be prepared with any questions you might have. Eat a light snack prior to your appointment (a piece of fruit, granola bar, etc.). Refrain from drinking alcohol or taking stimulants for at least 6 hours prior to your appointment. Drink at least 8 ounces of water before your appointment.
